...Later camp Ape...

... and finally man... (decide who is who from the picture)

Can someone remove this monkey from my shoulder, and release me from the chains that bind up my trading potential...

The answer my son...

... is that whilst other may prompt and guide you, only you may 'fix you'.

We are the masters of our own destiny and simultaneously the deny'ers of our own unlimited potential.

With the inception of this Blog, I commence my first tentative baby steps of a journey of a 1000 miles....

But to start, is still progress, and it is to begin to experience.

You can't improve what can't be measured..... you can't measure that which is not recorded...

With this, let the recording begin for better or for worse. It is from the bad news and the painful days that the best lessons will be learned.

No need to seek them out, for they will surely find me.

Let this blog be my confessional for all my weaknesses and sins, so that the truth may look straight back at me, day for day.

My task is to strive for greatness and through consistency, discipline, forethought and endeavour attain success.

There is no greater truth than to trade, the market holds up a mirror for you to contemplate your fear, greed, humility and wisdom.

...It is not the currencies, stock or commodites market that hate you, or abundantly reward you...

It is merely the harvest you have reaped for the seed and preparation that you  have sowed.

The time has come for me to look into the mirror and rejoice at what is good and to erase that which makes me recoil. (lets hope the surgery will not be too painful!)

To any who follow me on part of my journey, I thank you for your prescence. As it is to you I will report my sins and failings, and share my sweet success.

Without an audience to report my progress, the temptation to wither, and allow my commitment to fizzle away, at the first harsh lesson would be too great.

I hope the public dissection of my psyche, intellect, discipline will bring to bare advance warning to others in terms of all our failings as people, and therefore as traders, as the one is certainly aparallel subset of the other.

If successful I do not expect to be the same person as I was when I commenced the journey. For already I am aware of demons that must be conquered.

(Blog dedicated to Michael Hunt, my father who passed on 9/3/2009 at 84 years - a creative, yet also mechanical gifted individual and outstanding man and father)

...In the begining there was life..

... And speculation.

The purpose of this blog is to track and journalise the development of a trader, a specific individual..

Through his development story, let others find inspiration to find their own truth....
